Damen Family Vacation Photoshoot in Casa Pohon Ubud

This was my first time photographing a family on vacation at Villa Casa Pohon in Ubud. The villa is quite secluded, far from residential areas, offering a peaceful, cool, and serene environment. The Damen Family flew from Germany to Bali for a week-long vacation. Their two active boys provided a delightful opportunity to capture their activities in and around the villa, especially when they were swimming in the pool.

After photographing them within the villa premises, we continued scouting and exploring the surrounding areas outside the villa. We even ventured through the rice field embankments. The oldest child was insistent on trying the motorcycle I was riding, so his father took them on a short ride, although it wasn't enough for him. As the evening approached, I returned home with a warm and fulfilled heart.

Capturing love through the lens of a camera is a beautiful art, and on this occasion, I had the privilege of doing just that for Daniel and Silvana a charming couple hailing all the way from Austria. Daniel had a special surprise in store for his beloved Silvana, as it happened to be her birthday that day. He chose to commemorate the occasion with a photography session that would capture their love and the natural beauty of Bali as the backdrop. In the enchanting backdrop of Bali's seaside Seminyak, a small Australian family embarked on a memorable journey as they prepared to welcome their second and final child. Their gender reveal photoshoot on the pristine beach was destined to be a unique and unforgettable experience. The Cao family, led by the mother Thuy Duong, decided to keep the gender of their baby a well-guarded secret. Instead of peeking at ultrasound results, they opted for a surprise reveal using colorful smoke bombs. Each bomb represented a different gender, and the excitement was palpable as they start photoshoot at Courtyard Seminyak. With an envelope tightly sealed, containing the baby's gender, the Cao family stood in anticipation. As the countdown began, their hearts raced.
