Yuli's Babymoon Photo Session in Anantara Uluwatu

This was for the second time, that I took pictures at Anantara Uluwatu. The first one was for a family photo about  three years ago and this time was for a babymoon of Yuli and her husband. They were a couple from Jakarta who spent their week of vacation in Bali, away from the city hustle bustle to find some peaceful time together in the island of the Gods.

They did a road trip from Jakarta to Bali, how fun was that! Oh how I miss road trips, hopefully after this pandemic is over, I will be able to do some road trips throughout Indonesia, exploring the farthest islands, all over the rimland, that are rich of cultures and extraordinary landscapes.

Yuli was seven months pregnant when they took this photosession, now it would only be months away til the baby would see the world, a miracle of life, a beautiful blessing. I couldn't wait til hearing the news of the baby born! For our safety the photoshoot was of course done with the agreed health protocols, like almost every spot that we used for photoshoot was frequently sprayed with hand sanitizer by Yuli's husband. May we all be safe and given good health.

Sandy + Fadli Prewedding | Cappadocia Turkey Engagement Photography

As a photographer who loves all gender of photography, it is very easy for me to love Istanbul. The stunning landscape, unique culture, adorned and beautiful architectures are in every corner of the city. After a week seeing the glory of the past and the grandiose civilisation in Istanbul with my beloved friends, Sandy and Fadli, now it was time to explore Pamukkale and Cappadocia/Goreme. In Denizli province we only visited the Cleopatra thermal bath, the beautiful Pamukkale calcium travertine/terraces, and Hierapolis building one of the sites of UNESCO world heritage center, you must visit these places when you are in Turkey. In Cappadocia or Kapadokya in Turkish, we live in Goreme the heart of Cappadocia National Park. Goreme is a beautiful town with an unique landscape, it's mind blowing. Cappadocia cannot be separated from ceramics, carpets and hot air balloon. I was very lucky now I could see and get on the balloon just like what I saw on book covers or desktop w

Lizzy + Sean's Intimate Elopement at Villa Karang Saujana Bali

It had been a while since my team and I covered the intimate elopement like this. This wedding was only attended by closest people of the bride and groom. Lizzy the beautiful bride, which was only accompanied by one bridesmaid, seemed busy with her dressers, meanwhile in the different part of the villa, the main room, Sean the groom was cheerfully chatting with his friends and family. The chit-chat and jokes they had made the big room seemed small. The marriage vows were to be said by the sunset, where the weather was expected to be a little bit cooler and the venue which took place on the top of a beach cliff, got the nice breeze from the ocean.  Yet I could see that the groom was nervous and cold-sweated because his shirt was wet, or was it because of the weather? :) Under the blue sky, with the caresses of the wind, and the sound of rolling waves crashed onto the rocks, the vows of the two children of men were finally said. A kiss, happy faces, applauses, the

Sihombing Family | Holiday Photoshoot In Nyanyi Beach

I have been very lucky to have met clients that I've taken the pictures of during this pandemic, they've been very helpful ease my burden, that it had been months I lived out without any income and by taking pictures again kills the boredom of being home all day. Thank you Sihombing Family, it's an endless gratitude. Taking pictures of Sihombing Family was one of the most fun photosessions I've had. Especially taking pictures of Karen, she made my job easier, it was easy to give directions to her, she posed very naturally, it was smooth. The rest of the shots were mostly candid, as I usually take. I was a little bit worried about the weather, it was persistenly cloudy and it rained a little too for a few minutes. The blue sky didn't appear until the end of the session but by the time when it was supposed to be sunset, behind the thick clouds, the sun did show up a little but it was no longer than a minute. However, it was still okay could catch the sunlight to make
