A Traditional Balinese Wedding | Merti + Sanjaya

Sanjaya and Merti had the traditional Balinese wedding in Nusa Penida Island, the homeland of the groom. Five days prior, the groom's family came to the bride's home in Antiga - Karangasem to propose Sanjaya's soulmate. This proposal moment was also for the engagement.

For two days my team and I covered Sanjaya and Merti' s traditional Balinese wedding ceremony in Nusa Penida. Day one, they had the traditional ceremony ritual which was called Mejaya-jaya or some people called it Mawidi-widana, led by a Peranda (Bali Hindu Priest). This ritual took almost all day with all the Balinese ornaments like janur (young coconut leaf decoration), penjor (curved bamboo decoration) and banten (offerings) that were seen in every corner of the house.  These little things make the house looked so merry!

The day after, they held the reception. The bride and groom wore the authentic Balinese traditional outfit, they looked graceful and glow with such charisma.
A new beginning had begun, may they shall live together happily ever after!

Sandy + Fadli Prewedding | Cappadocia Turkey Engagement Photography

As a photographer who loves all gender of photography, it is very easy for me to love Istanbul. The stunning landscape, unique culture, adorned and beautiful architectures are in every corner of the city. After a week seeing the glory of the past and the grandiose civilisation in Istanbul with my beloved friends, Sandy and Fadli, now it was time to explore Pamukkale and Cappadocia/Goreme. In Denizli province we only visited the Cleopatra thermal bath, the beautiful Pamukkale calcium travertine/terraces, and Hierapolis building one of the sites of UNESCO world heritage center, you must visit these places when you are in Turkey. In Cappadocia or Kapadokya in Turkish, we live in Goreme the heart of Cappadocia National Park. Goreme is a beautiful town with an unique landscape, it's mind blowing. Cappadocia cannot be separated from ceramics, carpets and hot air balloon. I was very lucky now I could see and get on the balloon just like what I saw on book covers or desktop w

Elyssia Pregnancy | Gorgeous Beach Maternity Photoshoot in Bali

Elyssia flew from California to have a babymoon  for more than a week in Bali, refreshing body and mind with Jabba, the beloved husband before their baby girl will born to the world. A baby girl that they'd been expecting for all of these times since all of their siblings' children were all boys!  During this holiday, Elyssia spared some time for a maternity photoshoot at Gunung Payung Beach in that one drizzling morning, she looked so sophisticated. Her pregnancy was on the seventh month, and her baby bump looked perfect, very lovely for the photoshoot. The white dress she was wearing, flared as the ocean breeze blew. A stunning mommy to be!   She was glowing, although it was cloudy during photoshoot, but still this was gorgeous beach maternity photoshoot in Bali. What made me happy was that they didn't mind about the gloomy weather at all. At the end of the photo session Elyssia even gave me some tips! How nice of her! I guess I am very lucky to have met lovely clients as
