Destination wedding photojournalism in Jakarta, Indonesia

Jakarta, is a busy metropolis city where the center of business and traffic is. I had 2 clients who requested me to do wedding photo shoot in Jakrta, Nikita and Aldrin were my second client. Sandy is a friend of mine who is Nikita’s sister. She wanted to give a little surprise for here beloved sister’s wedding.

Sandy contacted me to be the photographer of her sister’s wedding without telling Nikita long time before her wedding. She wanted to make a surprise for her as her wedding present. On the D-day, Nikita and Aldrin were surprised to see me because they had prepared a photographer who was their relative. But, they were happy to have me as their wedding photographer. The blessing was held in a church in Depok that is located quite far from the reception site. I was really happy to be a witness of their sacred wedding.

They look so perfect together. And, it was a pleasure to capture their wedding photos. I treat this wedding a little bit different. I focused on the candid photos since they look very nice with nature pose. I didn’t want to pass great moments they were having that made them smile the whole day until the wedding reception over. Even I worked for this wedding, but I had a great time. The bride is very beautiful and the groom very handsome also, perfect day and perfect couple. Enjoy the photos!

They loved the terraced-rice paddy landscape in Ubud and they wanted to have Balinese ornaments, so those two element used as the photo backgrounds.  At this honeymoon tour photo session, Mark and Chris wore the same outfits as they did on their wedding, from shoes, suits to ties. Love is beautiful, every human has their own way to form their love and respect is the most beautiful way to accept diversity.

Marzia & Keluarga Liburan di Bali | The Sun & Surf Stay Bingin Beach

Diumurnya yang ke satu tahun Marzia sudah diajak liburan bersama keluarganya ke Bali, she's so cute.  This was her first experience at the beach, untuk pertama kali kaki-kaki mungilnya menginjak pasir dan ombak pantai dan itu terjadi di Pantai Virgin Beach (White Sand Beach) Bugbug, Karangasem. Perkenalan dengan pantai berhasil, meski sempat nangis karena kena sapuan ombak namun tidak membuat baby Marzia kapok malah kemudian sangat menikmatinya. Hari selanjutnya saya bertemu keluarga kecil ini di The Sun & Surf Stay Bingin Beach Uluwatu, seharian ngikutin mereka dari sarapan hingga jalan-jalan ke Pantai Nyang Nyang, melelahkan tapi menyenangkan.

Sandy + Fadli Prewedding | Cappadocia Turkey Engagement Photography

As a photographer who loves all gender of photography, it is very easy for me to love Istanbul. The stunning landscape, unique culture, adorned and beautiful architectures are in every corner of the city. After a week seeing the glory of the past and the grandiose civilisation in Istanbul with my beloved friends, Sandy and Fadli, now it was time to explore Pamukkale and Cappadocia/Goreme. In Denizli province we only visited the Cleopatra thermal bath, the beautiful Pamukkale calcium travertine/terraces, and Hierapolis building one of the sites of UNESCO world heritage center, you must visit these places when you are in Turkey. In Cappadocia or Kapadokya in Turkish, we live in Goreme the heart of Cappadocia National Park. Goreme is a beautiful town with an unique landscape, it's mind blowing. Cappadocia cannot be separated from ceramics, carpets and hot air balloon. I was very lucky now I could see and get on the balloon just like what I saw on book covers or desktop w
